GO:
A song immediately comes to mind. Ava Sophie starts singing:
here I am to say that you’re my God’
It’s something about those lyrics.
Here I am.
Here I am to(….)
She’ s thinking about how dependent she is on remembering to tell God:
‘Here I am. I stand silent before you, just as I am, only with one need: your presence.’
She’s thinking about all the times she feels lost. The times when she wonders why God is so far away, and no matter what she does He won’t answer. And then when she remembers to come into the presence of God and just say: Here I am. All yours’, she understands that: ‘Aha! I forgot this part. I forgot that I am the one who makes me feel so lost! I am the one who cut myself off, so I can’t feel God’s presence! No wonder I’ve been struggling’. And in the moment she says ‘here I am’, she can feel the presence. She can let down her shoulders, accept and feel the peace she’s offered, just BE.
Ava Sophie sends up a prayer:
‘Thank you, Lord!
thank you for moving into my neighborhood.
Thank you for giving me everything I need and more!
Thank you for being there for me, ALWAYS, no matter what!
Thank you for loving me just the way I am.
Thank you for liking me, even with all my flaws.
Thank you for being the air I breathe!’
STOP(20 minutes, getting better at this;) )
I love the image of letting down your shoulders, relaxing into His love and grace. Needed to be reminded of that today.

Thanks for bringing that song to mind tonight!
I’m so far behind on blog reading except the ones I put in a special “A-Z” folder – I should do that for those of you I initially met b/c of FMF, but I have those of you I’m following under a faith related category (or most…a few aren’t) but it means just trying to stay afloat b/c of life I’m WAY behind on blog reading/commenting! So I just decided I was coming to visit you and ignoring my reader for now :-)
Your time updates at the end of your FMF posts always make me smile!
Blessings on you, my bloggy friend!

I’m sure God showed me the song, and I am so thankful he could use me to remind others with the song!
I’m thankful and really appreciate that you thought of me! I really appreciate you and the comments you leave. Now I am behind on my blog reading and commenting, as you can see;) I feel I owe it to my readers, myself and God to stay up to date with it, but I am just now reading a book called ‘You’re Already Amazing’ by Holley Gerth and she has a great point. We are already amazing. Just as we are. Even when we’re behind on things we would like to do ;) And I must say: The you I’ve gotten to know till now: YOU are amazing! You are caring, dedicated, devoted, gracious and encouraging from what I can see!
Hehe, I must admit that I laugh a little every time I write FMF posts. I am dreadful with time limits and deadlines;)
Bless you!
xXx
